v0.8 Google Share / Custom DiceSets / AI Rolltables

v0.8 Release Notes

Custom DiceSets

Now in the Dice Selector there is a Custom Tab.  There you can make up any combination of dice or expression you want.  The syntax supports most if not all the options you are familiar with from other dice expressions systems like Roll20, Foundry, Sofie's Dice, etc.  It will due it's best to render physical 3D rolls for your selection.  It has a quick roll right from the dicebag that doesn't show the animation but will instantly show results.  The Quick Dice button will also show an explanation on the roll as well.

You can also use the Search bar on the bottom to roll whatever without going through the trouble of creating a dice set.  The Sytnax is /r or /roll.

Google Share Button

Many screen now let you export the contents to whatever you want.  They are exported in markdown format and tested with Obsidian.  Currently you can export things like NPCs, Lore and Rolltables.  Rolltables are a bit unique in that when you export a rolltable it will create a markdown format that should also be printable.  Regardless of the number of table entries it will create a physical diceset that could be used to roll on that table in the real world.

There is also an Add AI Button.  If you have AI enabled you can have it generate table entries for you.  Select the number of entires you want to generate and it will give you a preview of the result in case you don't like the suggestions.  This is ideal for situations in Solo play where you want a unique rolltable but think you make run into it again.  For instance you can tell it to create 20 possible attacks for a Swamp Witch in ironsworn.  You may not run into a Swamp Witch again but if you do you will have a bunch of spells and attacks they may try to make against your character. (Note: Ironsworn isn't a supported game...yet)

Notable Bug Fixes

Initial Load Times - Fixed an issues with slow initial load times.  The rolltables button can still take a few seconds to load and I'm working on a better way to indicate progress.

Google Play Pre-Registration - I thought Google Play pre-registration was working but apparently it was never an "active" track.  That should be fixed now and I've added some special pre-registration themed dice for the troubles!
