As a network hacker, known as a Fe-Runner, you operate in the metaverse, where Fe serves as the foundation and cryptocurrency. You accept assignments by making vows and encrypting them into the Fe Network. Each player's world is distinct, with varying truths shaping the realities you encounter.

You begin in the Core network, where you can expand to the Corporate network (CorpNet). Consumerism dominates the world, and corporations wield significant control. While each government sector handles enforcement, the GovNet encompasses military, local police, and general government services. The DarkNet, located in the farthest reaches of the Net, hosts clandestine meetings and a wide range of individuals, including hackers, spies, rebels, and corporate intelligence officers. This hidden aspect of the Net is publicly renounced yet secretly utilized by all.

Who Am I?

I am a huge fan of the Ironsworn by Shawn Tomkin and I am also someone who has been a professional hacker for the last 30 years of their life and have written such books as The Car Hacker's Handbook.  This book however, is a work of fiction and is a love letter to both Solo RPGs and the hacking culture.
